 My photographers name is William Klein he was born in new york on April 19th 1928 in a poor Jewish family. he graduated early from high school and enrolled at the City College Of New York at age 14.He then decided to join the army and was stationed in Germany and later France where he had to stay. He was trained as a painter studied under Fernand Leger and found early success in his work. in 1957 with no training he won the Prix Nadar.
